November 2002 Cambridge Real Estate Review
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
I'm celebrating my sixteenth year in Cambridge real estate sales and my thirty-first year in the Cambridge housing industry. Thank you for contributing to my success!
They say change is opportunity, and this is certainly a year for change! You may have heard that The DeWolfe Companies are merging with Hunneman/Coldwell Banker to create Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. This will combine the resources of New England's top two firms into one streamlined company to offer an unparalleled level of services. While the company name changes, the agents remain the same. I will continue to deliver distinctive personal service from the same Huron Avenue office.
This year's 4th Annual Benefit Concert for the Cambridge Housing Assistance Fund (CHAF) was a resounding success. After hors d'oeuvres at the Harvard Faculty Club, we had a great time at Sanders Theatre swinging to the to the tunes of Rebecca Parris and Paul Broadnax accompanied by the Kenny Hadley Big Band. In all, $131,000 was raised to assist more than 100 homeless and near homeless families and individuals with rental startup costs. In the four years that I've directed this event, CHAF has raised over $440,000 to assist close to 400 households. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
If you are considering buying or selling, the time is now to start planning! I am always available if you would like an update on the value of your home, or if you would like a consultation on your real estate needs. We offer Buyer and Seller representation at DeWolfe/Coldwell Banker, as well as mortgage, insurance, relocation and moving services.
I look forward to hearing from you, whether to simply catch up, or to assist you with real estate.
